Business Development Manager – Russian language

Business Development Manager Russian

Sales-orientated AVALON Business Development in the Russian Federation and Russian-speaking countries

There are many Russian-speaking people all around the world – to 147 million people Russian is the mother tongue, and another 113 million speak it as a second language – , but in just four countries Russian is the official language. These countries are the Russian Federation, as well as Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The Russian language is unofficially yet widely spoken in Ukraine, and other former USSR republics, including Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Armenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, however at AVALON we are set to concentrate by business relevance on the official four and mainly actively market in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

This is big enough. After all, Russia is the world’s largest country, comprising much of northern Eurasia and stretching over a vast expanse of Europe and Northern Asia.

Russia’s vast geography is an important determinant of its economic activity, with some sources estimating that Russia contains over 30 percent of the world’s natural resources, the total value of which the World Bank estimates at US $75 trillion.
Russia has the fifth-largest national economy in Europe, with a GDP of US $1.69 trillion in 2019, and Russia’s exports amounted to US $424,6 billion.

Interestingly nearly 6% of all websites are using Russian.

By these quick facts, the relevance of the Russian language and the business potential of the Russian Federation region become already clear.
